Easter Build
Hi all,
We just put a build up that should fix those of you having the problem on the PC where audio would start playing but you would just see black screens in the mosaic for 15-30 seconds before video comes in (sometimes worse).

Good work thus far. Performance is better but still choppy.
Bug Report:
Box scores do not scroll to match the team at bat. I have to manually scroll down to see this.
I still can’t download the Mosaic, is there an alternate site?
Audio is cutting in and out bad in Mosaic on highest quality.

My mosaic only plays audio; i can’t see anything.
I have noticed that Swarmcast is in my startup menu, so I have started deleting the shortcut there and the icon in the task bar after I shutdown Mosaic. It doesn’t hurt anything to do this. Mosaic will load just fine the next time you want to run it, unfortunately, each time you run it, it again puts the shortcut to Swarmcast in your startup file and an icon in your taskbar, so you need to delete it each time you close Mosaic down in both places, the taskbar icon and the startup file, or else when you reboot your pc for any reason, Mosaic will once again startup and place an icon in your taskbar even though you haven’t opened it to view a game. NOTE TO JASON: Since it doesn’t seem to affect the way Mosaic operates, please remove the icon from the taskbar when we close Mosaic, and DO NOT put the shortcut for Mosaic in the startup file each time Mosaic opens as it is not functionally needed there. Most of us have alot already in our taskbars and startup files, so anything that isn’t absolutely needed there to run should not be there until needed. Thanks–Mosaic is running GREAT for me this EASTER MORNING, KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK, EACH DAY IT IS GETTING BETTER AND BETTER!!!!!!
My Mosaic will work fine until an update is released. Whenever it auto-updates I seem to get the following message:
JETPerfect: Incomplete .usg file. Extra usage list generated.
This comes up in relation to the Swarmcast-MLB-TV-Mosaic.exe file and stops me from watching the multi screen views – single screen will still work fine. I seem to be able to fix it by uninstalling mosaic, and swarmcast, then downloading the file from MLB.tv again and reinstalling. Whilst it means I can still enjoy Mosaic, and I am, it does get a little annoying. Do appreciate all the work though guys and wish you all a happy easter
how come mlb mosaic wont connect today? i’ve tried over and over. starting to tick me off. plus 4 the price u greedy people charge it should not freeze up when it is working. i am very upset thus far. u should fix your problems before u sell something. and not just sell out to direct tv
Anyway you guys can get rid of the “widescreen” on the TB-Toronto and White Sox-Twins games. White Sox games seem to be always in this format.

Hey Justin, Internet Explorer says the page cannot be displayed when I click on the link.
Firefox give me the same error.
The widescreen looks awesome on my monitor, dont get rid of it, please.
I only get audio in Mosaic, no video, no matter what quality setting I use. I’m using a PC. I can watch the video fine directly through the Web site, but not through Mosaic.
Very low audio on the SF/LA game in Mosaic.
Audio level was adjusted in the SF/LA game.
sevendayna – do you see a bar pop-up across the top that warns you about downloading executable files? you’ll need to click on this to accept the download. you may also need to go into the browser settings and change your security level in order to download it, and then set it back afterwards.
Everything is perfect except this new widescreen letterbox format. Why the sudden change? The black boxes on the top and bottom of the screen make the overall viewing area smaller.
I doubt any of us appreciate that. I have a widescreen monitor, and now the screen is not only stretched but smaller. Not good.
Any reason for the pop-up warning of ‘Mosaic not in use?’ I’ve been actively using the app, but I’ve got that about three times this morning?
We’re working on a better way to handle that mike – we’ll have an update for it early this week. the original reason for it was bandwidth conservation for both you all and us, but with the new streaming that we’re doing, its less relevant.
fudde, its dependent on what feed we can get for the game. we try for 4:3 video, and are also working to get hardware in place to address aspect ratio conversion in our production facility here.
Mosaic plays games in slow motion in both the 6 game and single game modes.

700K IS NOT WORKING AND MOSAIC HAS NEVER WORKED!!!!!!
Mosaic worked fine the day I downloaded, now I can not see any video other than Baseball TV with horrible sound delay. Running on a Mac….all programs obviously correct and plenty of bandwith too. I’ve seen other posts about ports being opened. Are there certain ports that MLB needs…does this even matter? Have some opened on my router for bittorrents w/ UPnP enabled and firewalls off. Buffering stops everytime at 49% for archives, cannot connect to single screen view….where do I stop with the issues!? Have tried uninstalling/reinstalling….not a complete newb….PLEASE HELP GUYS!
My buffers way to much in the 4 and 6 game format. Plays good for 8 seconds and then the buffering start again. As for my computer specs. here they are.

My patience has run out. After being repeatedly reassured that you are working hard to fix the problems, each new build is as bad as the last. For a few days I was actually able to browse and have Mosaic/swarmcast on my computer together, but with the latest build I am again unable to visit content-heavy websites like espn.com and mlb.com (!) when Mosaic and swarmcast are simply on my machine, let alone running. I cannot believe this program was not beta tested and you expect us to pay for this (lack of) service. Extra Innings can’t come to cable fast enough. I am unsubscribing from this worthless service, and if you ever figure out how to get my internet back up and running please kindly let me know.
I am still getting an error message saying “MLBAMPLayer was unable to start because MFC71.dll was not found”. I’ve tried un-installing and re-installing with no success. I even tried copying the file from another program into it and no hekp. What else can I do?
I downloaded Mosaic 2 days ago and I’ve been having that problem where I can hear the games but can’t see them… I have yet watched a single game through it…help???

Is there something wrong with the single view today, I mean I can access the mosaic but when I go to single view (baseball channel) it just says streming error, and then a dialog box appears that say try a different quality level.
I have my own business and can access to internet at home and at the office with the same laptop, does this has to do with anything? I mean access from different locations with the same computer? at home the mosaic and the single view work just fine, a better quality would be nice though.

I am still not getting audio on multiple game views in mosaic. On a single game view I get great video and audio on the highest quality setting. I checked my bandwidth I it was 4.0 Mbps, so it isn’t not a bandwidth problem. I have tried numerous times to change focus and still no audio. Only one game all season got audio and it was not relative to its position in mosaic. The only suggestions I have to add to ones stated above is an improvement in the player alert logic in the conclusion of half innings. The announcements continue after the third out during the commercial break. I have spent time switching games for no reason.
Audio Driver: Realtec AC’97 Audio Driver
I keep getting an error when I try to open the mosaic program. It says that “It could be that you need to update your DirectX Drivers. Exception: Exception from HResult 0x8876086C” I have updated my directX and made sure that I meet all the system requirements, but still am receiving this same error message. Please advise on how to fix this error. Thanks.
I am having the same problem as baseballbruce. Mosaic is buffering every 8 seconds on 4 to 6 views. It is annoying as all heck. I wish you would fix that particular problem. Why DOES it need to buffer constantly?????
The other annoying thing is the delay factor. I am watching a game still in progress and towards the end of the game, the “live” game indicator (yellow square) at the top of the screen will move to the left of the screen and go red (“final.”) The score at the bottom of my game will then dissapear, giving way to the red circle indicating game over, yet the game is still going on in the screen. At that point I figure it’s not use continuing to watch the game. Mosaic seems to be at least one inning behind live action. Will this be fixed?
Another problem I have is with MLB.TV itself and not in Mosaic mode. The screen is cut on the right and I cannot access anything. I have tried everything I know to make the complete screen available, but to no avail. I have tried to re-size the screen but it won’t re-size. This problem does not affect the game per-se, but it will not allow me to access tabs at the right of the screen and there is no scroll bar on the right or at the bottom of my screen.
how do you get swimcast of of your computer. I got rid of mlb because it stunk I could not get anything to work
