Update

As you may have seen, we have re-enabled the mosaic after working through the tech issues we were concerned about earlier. It will be running through the rest of the evening, and in normal operation from this point forward. Again, we appreciate your patience as we ensure we provide the best experience possible.

We’re working on a few intermittent issues that have been reported related to viewing some of the video on the 6-up view, as well as login related issues. We’ll keep you updated here and on the support forum as we progress.
Thanks,
Justin

I finally got a feed to work! 400k BOS@OAK game is working through the web player. Finally…something.

Mosiac keeps telling me I am logged in elsewhere, which is ****. Maybe because I am watching a game on the web viewer it sees me logged on there? Even though the web player has NO WAY TO LOGOFF! MLB web development meet Human Computer Interfaces. Can’t design a web app without it.

What are you guys going to do for us?Cuz we are giveing you guys $20 a month so maybe you guys need to think about giveing us the $20 back to us cuz we can’t see the games?

    No Luck,
I’m still getting a message that I am logged on to multiple computers on MLBTV Mosaic and also MLB Multimedia Guide I cant watch a game or even listen to one on the audio links. I have been told to try to reset my password, well I’ve been on a hold for 1 hour now to MLB still no one!

The message i get is “unable to successfully validate your information, in regards to blackout”. Is there anyone of “integrity” on the MLB side to answer how to compensate a paying customer for their loyalty and trust, in purchasing an item that has not performed as advertised? And why couldn’t this have been ironed out during spring training? Why should anyone find this to be acceptable?

Last year I accepted a lot of poor service and finally expected something good this year. What a mistake! All winter and it doesn’t work now.

This is terrible. MLB has no respect for their customers. I’m on hold with them as well. I feel like we’re all being pushed around with not much recourse here. Maybe I’ll have to switch to DirecTV to see Red Sox games, but I don’t want to do that.

I keep getting the blackout message for no apparent reason. A service I was counting on for fun has cost me too much wasted time and frustration.

I understand we are only in the first week of the season, but so far this is looking like a waste of money. I’m having the following problems:

    1. Cannot logon to Mosaic. I click on the Mosaic logo on top of the MLB homepage and it takes me to the download center. Yeah, thanks, but I already have it downloaded and installed.

    2. Unless someone is using my account information, this is the only computer I’m logged onto.

    3. The Cubs, once again, are the most overrated team in sports. They’re going to flop just like they have for the last century. Sad.

Go Brewers! and Go MLB.com Mosaic software engineers! Let’s get this thing fixed!

For the wisdom of MLB.TV what not beta test MLB.TV before the season starts! I log in and then in the 7th inning of the Rox and Cards game I get black outs on all the screens. Then it gives me a number to call. I call the number, state option 2, then wait 5 minutes the first time and then 10 minutes the second time, then a message that says…they are not accepting calls. I been with MLB.TV since the beginning. I have enjoyed it even with it’s ups and downs. But not now. I would like my money returned and I will just get Extra Inninings baseball from someone. I understand they are having problems, but having the support lines not staffed, is unacceptable.

ditto here – multiple logins error. i just signed up 10 mins ago so this is impossible.

Justin – let us know when this is ironed out. Better yet, turn off the dang multiple logins security while you fix it so we can at least watch ball! MLB.TV’s mistake, not ours!

I have nothing valuable to add except increasing frustration as i can’t log in, can’t speak to anyone on the phone and can’t enjoy baseball. I note that you had no problems at all charging my credit card though when i bought the service you advertised…

Might i suggest your staff pick up a few copies of this:

I have had all the error’s mention above. Including one extra one. It’s the one where you call the toll free # and it prompts you to press 2 for help then wait 10 seconds and it hangs up on you. It would be great if it worked, But the hard truth it does’nt!! Mark

You guys (mosaic builders??) seem to be on the right track-Signed on and was able to see some games but often lost streams.. then the proverbial “unable to successfully validate your information, in regards to blackout”error message.. Even after closing app continued to receive message – very annoying- had to go through task mgr to close.. I spent about 2 hours on hod yesterday and another 1 hour today..For a product that was so hyped and advertised (propogandised) to the point of absurdity, you’d think that with all the $$ uncle BUD is pulling in you might have tested the product before hawking it..speaking to receptionists who have little information and who are taking complaints (abuse) is not the manner in which I expect to be serviced for goods or services for which I have paid $$ ..several otheres have properly questioned the integrity of your operation..I guess it may be attributed to the old “trickle down” or “don’t look, don’t tell” atmosphere that has been shown to be ridiculously pervasively throughout MLB.. From Capitol Hill to the pitching mound — it’s hard (impossible) to get answers.. I too will be looking for some other form of viewing and listening to games –until hopefully MLB>COM can get its house and products up to snuff.. i’ll also be seeking reparation or compensation (possible illegal fraudulent and misleading advertising) . What a shame..

I haven’t even touched on the drafting problems with Fantasy Open 2008. (Another over-hyped product with numerous unrepaired bugs.)

On the upside – Baseball is back!! and hopefully we’ll be able to enjoy it as advertised.

EVER YONE LISTEN TO THIS I HAVE AN UPDATE THAT WILL SOLVE ALL PROBLEMS!

I just got off the phone with MLB. The issue is logging into Mosaic and logging into Multimedia Guide. They will not accept one another. Answer to the solution is this! Call MLB 1-866-800-1275 have them reset your loggin. BUT!!!! Do not log in to MLB Mosaic or Multimedia Guide until tommarrow the system has to reset itself! I talked to a real nice lady and they have tech people working on the issues. The Tech guy said he figgured out that MLBTV Mosaic needs a logout link to fix the problem. ALWAYS before logging to either MLBTV Mosaic or Multimedia Guide. type http://www.mlb.com and go to the register/loggin on the top above the Bank of America sign! and log in to view the games on Multimedia Guide when you are done log out on the register/loggin place and confirm your logout this is the proper loggin and logout they said. They are going to forward a message to MLBTV Mosaic to have the same kind of link on the MLBTV Mosaic Page this should resolve the issue! I hope I have helped many! but logout before logging in the other!

UPDATE) – HOW TO GET YOUR $$ BACK!!!!!
GOT MY MONEY BACK!. After 45 mins on the phone holding, I finally got the billing department. Complain that I didnt even sign up for MLB.TV account but they charged my account so therefor I got a tracking # & a refund back to my credit card.

EVERYONE GO CALL THE BILLING DEPARTMENT & COMPLAIN AS THAT’S THE BEST & ONLY WAY TO GET YOUR FUNDS BACK! FUNNY HOW ALL THE ADVERTISEMENT & THE SIGN UP PAGES WORK CORRECTLY BUT ONCE YOU PAID IT, NOTHING WORKS. IT’S 4/1 TODAY & STILL THE VIDEO DOESNT EVEN WORK WHEN YOU CLICK ON THE 400K OR 800K. ALL U GET IS A BLANK BLUE SCREEN WITH THE SCORELINES.

IF YOU WANT YOUR MONEY, FORGET ABOUT EMAILING, CALL BILLING DEPARTMENT (OPTION 1)

I have an update on MLB.TV Mosiac player…..
IT IS A COMPLETE PIECE OF ****

I paid extra to get that service and I can’t even use it. WTF I have to use the web player. Last night I coudln’t watch the sox games because it kept freezing. Not to mention when it did work it looked like a ******* SLIDE SHOW. So I figured it would be fixed for today. WRONG Today when I go to watch the sox games none of the feeds work. NONE OF THEM. just black screens. Whoever is in charge here is a full blown *** donkey. THis is a huge rip off. Everyday it gets worse, not to mention they scaled back the capabilities of Mosiac before the season even started, but failed to mention that before they automatically chargerd my credit card. The most disheartening part of all of this is that when it is “working” it is a ************* SLIDESHOW THAT FREEES AND PAUSES EVERY FIVE MINUTES. Manny hit a ball in the gap and the throw to second…………………………………………………………………………………..(five minutes later) SAFE!

MLB is urinating in the face of those who paid the most. I want my ******* money back!

  18. njp316@hotmail.com

Ahhh A new day and of course a new reason to waste my time on this forum. I say this because everyone comes here and writes about the litany of issues that they encounter while trying to use Mosiac and nothing gets done, absolutely nothing. Justin doesn’t even bother to acknowledge our problems. He justs leaves his outdated posts at the top of the page. Hey Justin the issues on your post are NINE DAYS OLD, and that means I have had 12 new problems since then. At least acknowledge that Mosiac is so flawed you can’t keep up with what is wrong.

Anyway today I was watching the game and the BAM! Logged off and the message says I didn’t purchase MLB.TV premium, why? I DID PURCHASE MLBTV PREMIUM. It was the biggest mistake of 2008 for me because I have not been able to get through a complete game without something going completely wrong.

Well I ran out of patients. I finally waited on hold for 38 minutes to put in my request for a refund. I guess they coudln’t process my request at the time because they were overflowed with calls from every other person that wasted their money, which would be everyone that paid for MLBTV. I suggestion to everyone reading this….GET OUT WHILE YOU STILL CAN.

If they do plan on fixing it they don’t bother to tell the people that paid $120 and are beating their head against a wall trying to watch their favorite team play a baseball game. Things are not good for Red Sox fans living in florida. I guess I will have to become a Devil Rays fan.
    GOD TAKE ME NOW!!!!!!!!!!

I am new to this service and I am very upset with the fact that I can’t see the definition that I was shown BEFORE I made the payment!! It’s just the damn American way I suppose.
